Blue Mountains Grammar School is a co-educational Anglican school serving Pre-Kindergarten - Year 12 students in the Blue Mountains.The school is seeking to employ a part-time Bus Driver at our Wentworth Falls campus.The PositionThe Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of Students to and from school, and on occasion, to other locations, as required. The School is seeking to employ a Bus Driver on the following basis:Permanent part-time basis5 hours per day on a split shift basisMonday to Friday, term time onlyStart date negotiableAdditional hours may be required to meet operational needsEssential RequirementsThe Bus Driver will:Have a good driving recordHold a minimum (MR) Medium Rigid NSW LicenseAbility to work as part of a teamDemonstrated interpersonal communication skillsDemonstrate care for StudentsDemonstrated knowledge of the legislation relating to Work Health SafetyClean and tidy presentationKey ResponsibilitiesThe Bus Driver will be required to perform the following duties:Ensure the safe transportation of StudentsComply with RMS / Police and Council regulationsMaintain accurate vehicle log recordsAttend to the weekly maintenance of the busClean the bus after useRemunerationRemuneration will be based on the Independent Schools Support and Operational Staff Award according to qualifications and experience. Privacy Guidelines Employment Collection NoticeIn applying for this position the applicant will be providing Blue Mountains Grammar School with personal information.The School will collect the information in order to assess the application for employment and may keep this information on file if your application is unsuccessful in case another position becomes available.The School's Privacy Policy contains details of how the applicant may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or how the applicant may seek access to personal information collected about them.
