Head of Mathematics At Blue Mountains Grammar School, we have students who are wilderness adventurers, magpie researchers, frog habitat creators, T20 cricketers, theatre sports performers, Big Band players, and award-winning artists. We have students who find learning easy and others who take a little longer. We have quiet students and others who are sometimes rambunctious, students who thrive in big groups, and others who enjoy sitting quietly, considering the world. We are now seeking a person to join us as our Head of Mathematics. Ideally, we need someone excited about imagining new possibilities in the future. This will mean that you love a challenge, are energised by working in schools, and are comfortable being uncomfortable so that you can lead your team to build something new and excellent. The current team are experts in their role and you will look to grow the team further. You might be a current Head of Department, an exceptional Mathematics teacher, or someone who wants to reimagine what learning can be in the classroom.
