The role includes:Providing in-class support for students with learning needs. This might include team-teaching lessons with the class teacher or sitting with identified students to support them and provide scaffolding and assistance during English or Maths lessons.Early intervention reading support in the form of the MiniLit intensive literacy program for identified Early Learning students.Withdrawal and supervision of students with learning difficulties to teach specific skills, e.g. English/Maths, Spelling for Stages 1- 3 students, NAPLAN preparation and formal assessment technique.Assisting with assessment of and reporting on students with learning difficulties, in collaboration with the Director of Wellbeing and Inclusion.Meeting with relevant staff to discuss student progress and strategies for supporting their needs.Parent teacher interviews with parents of identified students receiving specialist support.Aide for online learning programs such as Mathletics, Maths Wiz and Lexia.
