In this role, you will deliver both theoretical and practical lessons that engage students in innovative design thinking and hands-on project work. The ideal candidate will have a background teaching Design & Technology and Industrial Technology - Timber. This position is available on a Permanent Full-Time OR Part-Time basis, commencing Term 1, 2025.Employment OverviewPermanent Full-Time OR Part-TimeBased at BMGS Wentworth Falls campusPreferred start: Term 1 2025Salary in accordance with the MEAKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver engaging lessons that integrate both theoretical and practical learning;Develop and implement well-structured lesson plans, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and student learning outcomes;Create and assess a range of practical and theoretical tasks to measure student progress and skills development;Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and productive workshop environment;Differentiate instruction to cater to diverse student needs and learning abilities;Guide students in the use of tools, machinery, and design software, promoting safe practices and technical skill development;Provide timely and constructive feedback on assessments and communicate student progress to parents and guardians;Foster positive relationships with students, supporting their wellbeing and personal growth both inside and outside the classroom.RequirementsThe ability to teach Design & Technology and Industrial Technology - Timber is preferred;NESA accreditation to teach in NSW;A current NSW Working With Children Check;Full Australian work rights.Your resume should include your WWCC and NESA numbers, and in your cover letter please specify your preference for either part-time or full-time work.Apply today!
